Hard working campaigner Mark Alcock will contest Don Valley in the General Election on December 12th for the Liberal Democrats in a fight that people are saying will be a close between Mark Alcock, Labour and the Conservatives.

Mark has been working with the Liberal Democrat campaigners on local issues impacting Don Valley. He has also been campaigning to Stop Brexit as the impact will seriously damage our area.

Mark said:

This election will be a de facto referendum on Brexit. The voters of Don Valley, Doncaster and the UK are sick and tired of Brexit and just want an end to Brexit. If the Conservatives are elected with a majority government and take the UK out of the EU, but in reality the "deal" is just a plan of how to negotiate the final deal which will have to come back to parliament to be voted on in three to five years, and in that time the UK will carry on paying £1 billion a month to Europe but we will have no say and will still have to comply with all the EU rules.

In this election the choices are:

Vote Lib Dem and on achieving a majority government, we would on day one revoke article 50 and put an end to Brexit.

The Conservatives will either spend the next three to five years negotiating the final Brexit deal or take the UK out of the EU without a deal, which will cause untold damage to our lives.

Labour will if they win the election go to the EU and negotiate another deal then hold a referendum and campaign against their deal.

On December the 12th voters across Don Valley can vote to END Brexit by voting for Mark Alcock and the Liberal Democrats.

Mark Alcock is a married with three children, four grandchildren and two cats, he works for Sky TV, Mark has a record of campaigning on the environment, for the right housing in the right place, to Save our NHS, more and better Policing, fighting against Fracking, to improve our infrastructure along working with and assisting residents with their concerns and issues.
